In planning our wedding, we knew that lively music with tunes our friends and family would know and love was key. Matt and Jeff were so helpful in our song selections and almost instantly knew our tastes and preferences and literally played to them. They traveled to our out of town destination, learned a few new songs on request and even kept our outdoor rainy venue dancing until 2am! We still get positive remarks from friends about the vibe they set now 7 months later. They gave us the perfect soundtrack to this special day.

"We would recommend Big Mountain Rhythm for any wedding or occasion.  They worked with us closely on playlist, set perfect tone throughout the evening and lit the dance floor on fire when the time came.  We still have our family and friends tell us what an incredible time they had on our wedding night, Matt and Jeff made that happen.  I can still hear the crowd calling for "one more song" at the end of the night.  That sums it up, BMR left the crowd calling for more, a crowd that included Great Aunts, Mothers, Fathers and other hipsters of all ages. Last thing, Matt was amazing in helping me with a special acoustic song for my newly wed wife.  It created a magical and personal moment."

Matt and Jeff played at our wedding in 2009.  They were so pleasant and accommodating from the start.  They didn't know the song we wanted played as I walked down the aisle, and so they learned it in about two weeks!  It sounded like they had written it themselves.  They also played at our cocktail hour and they truly set the mood and atmosphere of our wedding.  Their performance was professional but casual and intimate and guests just raved about them, and still three years later, guests comment on how amazing they were.  Their style appealed to everyone from our conservative grandparents to our eclectic teenaged cousins!  We really feel we got excellent value for our money and strongly recommend them to perform at any event.

I can’t say enough good things about Big Mountain Rhythm.  My wife and I really wanted a live band at our wedding but had the normal concerns; how would it sound, would our music choices be limited, is it within our budget, etc.  But those worries were quickly put to rest.  They worked with our budget, have a tremendous repertoire of songs, and even picked up a few special requests just for us.  Matt dedicated a lot of extra time and attention working with us on a set list and also with the venue to make sure everything went off without a hitch.  Both guys had a relaxed and professional attitude the entire time.  Matt and Jeff are extremely talented, I was impressed how well they are able to take complicated songs and make changes in order to perform them but without changing the appeal of the original.  That is really hard to do.   For two guys, they have amazing stage presence and energy that engaged our guests and kept keep the party going until we were kicked out!  My wife and I are fans, we plan to see them play any time we make it to the Whistler/ Pemberton area.

The Whistler Golf Club has had the pleasure of working with Big Mountain Rhythm for the last three years.  They have played a variety of shows from corporate receptions to driving range openings, from local parties to golf tournaments & weddings, and have always given an awesome show.  Matt’s nature is one that is enjoyable throughout the planning process to deal with, and when he and Jeff show up completely self-sufficient at any of our venues, they are a treat to listen to.  Their wide repertoire is impressive and their ability to read and enhance the vibe of an event is always welcomed.  We are pleased to recommend these fine musicians to any of our guests and staff, and will continue to do so!
